Description |
These are 1949 Kiwanis ribbons, commemorating the thirty-fourth annual convention of the organization held June 19-23, 1949 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Raymond S. Blunt, Sr. was a lifelong member of the Kiwanis, serving as a president and as governor during his membership. There are two ribbons and a name badge. The plastic badge has the Kiwanis logo, the organization name, convention information and an illustration of a large building. Blunt's name and location are typed onto a card inserted into the badge. The first ribbon is blue with the Kiwanis logo and convention information plus "Delegate" printed in gold. The second ribbon is red with the Kiwanis logo and convention information plus "Lieutenant Governor" printed in gold. |
