This is a matchbook, circa 1950, from Village Club, 5247 W. 95th Street, Oak Lawn. The matchcover has three sections: the first section has a khaki background with the bar's name, address, amenities, and proprietor's's name, George Sarac, printed in black; the second section has a yellow background with the phone number printed in black; and the third section has an illustration of a woman wearing a Western style outfit, kneeling, with her breast partially exposed and the phrase "Hot Dog" printed next to her. |
