Description |
This is a commemorative plate from First Congregational Church, 9411 S. 51st Avenue. The white china plate is Theme Eggshell by Homer Laughlin China and has a relief of a variety of fruit around the rim. The center of the plate has an illustration, printed in blue, of the church building. The back of the plate has a brief history of First Congregational Church, including dates for the ground breaking, the laying of the cornerstone, and the dedication of the new building between 1954-1955. In addition, there are two imprints; one for Homer Laughlin China and one for Edwards China in Rock Hall, Maryland. First Congregational Church is now known as Pilgrim Faith United Church of Christ. |
