Description |
This is a matchbook, circa 1945, from Oak Lawn Feed Store, 5323 W. 95th Street, Oak Lawn. The matchcover has three sections: the first section has a bluish background with the store name, address, and phone as well as the proprietor's name printed in black; the second section has two types of feed available at the store printed in black against a green background; and the third section has a yellow background with a photo illustration of a Boxer dog wearing a collar & leash. The interior of the matchcover has an advertisement for War Bonds from World War 2 and a handwritten name "Jerry". |
