Description |
This is a 1951 Kiwanis ribbon, commemorating the thirty-sixth annual convention of the organization held June 17-21, 1951 in St. Louis, MIssouri. Raymond S. Blunt, Sr. was a lifelong member of the Kiwanis, serving as a president and as governor during his membership. The ribbon has two segments: a plastic name badge at the top has a red & blue frame with the Kiwanis logo, an illustration of the St. Louis cityscape, and the convention information with Blunt's name and location typed onto a card inserted into the badge; and a yellow ribbon with a large illustration of Abraham Lincoln along with the convention information printed in dark blue. |
