This ia a 1948 Kiwanis ribbon, commemorating the thirty-third annual convention of the organization held June 6-10, 1948 in Los Angeles, California. Raymond S. Blunt, Sr. was a lifelong member of the Kiwanis, serving as a president and as governor during his membership. The ribbon badge has two segments: a plastic name badge with the Kiwanis logo, convention information and an illustration of an adobe building with Blunt's name and location typed onto a card inserted into its holder' and a brown ribbon with the Kiwanis logo and convention information plus "Elections Committee" printed in gold. |
