Description |
This is a military issued duffel bag used by Oak Lawn resident Robert Ulatoski while serving in the US Army during the Korean War. The olive drab bag has Ulatoski's name and Army identification stenciled in white on the side. The attached tag is from Ulatoski returned home from his service. The duffel bag is part of the gear issued to a service member. If the person is serving in the US Navy or US Marine Corps, the bag may be known as a seabag. It is a durable, almost indestructible canvas bag intended to carry a soldier's clothing and other personal gear. The opening can be secured using the carrying strap or the carrying strap plus a padlock. |
