Description |
This is a matchbook, circa 1975, from Caravan West Restaurant and Lounge, 10259 S. Harlem Avenue, Oak Lawn. This was once part of the greater Oak Lawn area but now is in Chicago Ridge. The matchcover has a shiny green background with black printing and three sections: the first section has the restaurant name, address, phone number, and hours; the second section has "Always A Friendly Welcome"; and the third section has an illustration of a man and woman, both with drinks in hand and wearing formal attire, with the phrases "Good Food" and "Fine Drinks" printed above and below. The interior of the matchcover has information about the restaurant's cocktail lounge. |
