This is a matchbook, circa 1950s, from Oak Lawn Liquors and Lounge, 4909 W. 95th Street, Oak Lawn. The matchcover has three sections: the first section has the business name, proprietors names (Jim & Jack Orr), phone number, and address printed in black on a yellow background; the second section has the store's general products printed in black stencil on a red background; and the third section has an illustration of a woman, wearing a sheer negligee and stockings, seated on an ottoman holding a sign "Your Attention Please". |
