This item is a Chicago, Burlington, & Quincy train ticket for transportation between Chicago and Kensington in May of 1872. The ticket is signed by agent Sam Powell and was sold to P.G. Gardner. Prior to the completion of the Wabash line in 1881, residents of Oak Lawn (Black Oaks) may have used this route for travel. |
