This is a photograph of the construction of the Metra commuter parking lot at 95th Street and 51st Avenue. Workers are laying sewer and drainage pipes. Pilgrim Faith United Church of Christ located at 9411 South 51st Avenue can be seen in the background of the picture. There are cars parked in the church lot which is adjacent to the construction site. The garage structure seen behind the tracked wheel loader on the left of the photograph is part of the church property. Several steel trench boxes and other equipment are scattered around the site. |
