Description |
This is a photograph of a house located at 4201 W. 103rd Street. Built in 1913 as a farmhouse and possibly originally located on 102nd Street, it consisted of heavy timbers and square nails. When the land was subdivided for houses in 1927, Mr. Emmett "Bud" Meyer purchased the home in 1928 and had it moved to its location at 4201 W. 103rd Street and set on a high basement. Mr. Meyer and his wife, Jeanie, ran his business, Emmett R. Meyer Real Estate from the basement of the home. The home has since been demolished. |
