Description |
This is a photograph of the Oak Lawn Fest Parade in 1983. It features a float sponsored by Wolf's Bakery moving westbound on 95th Street near Lamon Avenue. Wolf's Bakery had two locations, one at 3241 West 95th Street in Evergreen Park and one at 5263 West 95th Street in Oak Lawn. People can be seen lining both sides of 95th Street to watch the parade. In the background, businesses along the south side of 95th Street include Radio Shack at 4815 West 95th Street, Great Beginnings Hair Center at 4821 West 95th Street; Hultgren Florist at 4823 West 95th Street, and Palermo's Pizza Restaurant at 4849 West 95th Street. Two boys can be seen on the roof of Palermo's watching the parade. |
