This is a photograph from the 1976 American Bicentennial parade held in Oak Lawn. Pictured are parade participants in moving westbound on 95th Street near 51st Avenue. Spectators can be seen lining both sides of the street watching the parade as a police officer looks on. In the background is the Oak Lawn Shell Car Wash and Detail Center located at 5105 W. 95th Street. This building has since been demolished. |
