This is a slide of damage caused by the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image shows a view looking northeast from the back end of the Oak Lawn Roller Rink, 9121 S. Cicero. A truss from the rink's roof is leaning against the brick wall of the building on the left. Two workers can be seen in the background on the electric or phone pole and another man, wearing a white hard hat and red jacket, can be seen coming out of the building. |
