This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The black & white image shows destroyed cars, piled onto an open area near 95th Street and Southwest Highway. A man, back to the camera, is walking towards one of the cars on the left side of the photo. The car on the right side appears to have been torn off its chassis. |
