Description |
This is photograph featuring a portion of the sign from I.N.R. Beatty Lumber Company which was formerly located at 9537 S. 52nd Avenue in Oak Lawn. Opened around 1928, the lumber company closed its Oak Lawn location in 2010. The lumber yard buildings were demolished in July 2016 in anticipation of new construction on the site. The partial sign now resides on the back outside wall of B. J. McMahon's located at 5432 95th Street. |
