Description |
This is a photograph of the O'Brien Courthouse. It is located at 9530 South 53rd Avenue and was built around 1927. The home was constructed by early Police Magistrate and Justice of the Peace Frank J. O'Brien and his wife Mary (Mabel). The home was declared a historical landmark by the Oak Lawn Historic Preservation Commission. The green plaque marking the home as a historical landmark can be seen mounted on the exterior the home to the right of front door in the picture. |
