This is a slide featuring Carol Lee Lightcap, a contestant in the Miss Oak Lawn Pageant, participating in the swimsuit competition during the semi-finals of the pageant. Donna Lee, the announcer for the competition can be seen in the left of the picture. The "Miss Oak Lawn" pageant was sponsored by the Johnson-Phelps VFW Post #5220 and Auxiliary located at 9514 S. 52nd Avenue and the finals were held on September 15, 1962 at the Hall. |
