Description |
This is an aerial photograph of the Oak Lawn Public Library. The library, located at 9427 S. Raymond Avenue, is in the center of the picture. It is bordered by Dumke Drive/Cook Avenue to the left (east), 95th Street to the south, and Raymond Avenue to the right (west). The Oak Lawn Municipal Center located at 9446 S. Raymond Avenue is visible to the right (west) of the library. The Village Green and gazebo are to the north of the library. The Oak Lawn Masonic Lodge located at 9420 S. 52nd Avenue is just east (left) of the Village Green. On the south side of 95th Street, Cook School, formerly located at 9526 S. Cook Avenue is visible. The building has since been demolished. Both of the areas east and west of Cook Avenue along 95th Street have been redeveloped. The block west of the library on the north side of 95th Street between Raymond Avenue and 53rd Court has also been redeveloped. |
