This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The black & white image shows a Suburban Transit Company bus, mangled and tossed by the storm into the destroyed house at 9413 S. Menard Avenue. Part of the Frank Tourangeau home at 9415 S. Menard Avenue can be seen in the background. The bus engine can be seen in the foreground next to the home's foundation. |
