Description |
This is a photograph of 95th Street looking east from the north side of the street at Tulley Avenue. A 1963 Ford Falcon Sprint convertible is parked in front of Steve's Coin Shop located at 5130 W. 95th Street. This building used to serve as the Oak Lawn Post Office. In the background, Fernwood Smith Cleaners, located at 5114 W. 95th Street and a Shell station can be seen. An advertisement for TV Sales and Service is also visible on the side of a building located at 5100 W. 95th Street. The railroad gates and crossing are visible. On the south side of 95th Street, a cement truck can be seen turning into the William Brandt & Son Materials Yard. A billboard for the I.N.R. Beatty Lumber Company is seen overhead. The Humble Oil & Refining Company Enco gas station located at 5103 W. 95th Street is seen to the right. |
