This is a photograph of people gathering for what is believed to be a Memorial Day ceremony at the Oak Lawn M-5 Stuart Tank war memorial site. Located at Columbus Drive and 95th Street, Oak Lawn Fire Department personnel and equipment can be seen lining up. Spectators are also gathering for the observance along Columbus Drive at its intersection with 51st Avenue, on the north side of the memorial site. American Legion Post #757 members were in attendance. |
