Description |
This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image, taken from Central Avenue near 94th Street, shows the west facade of St. Gerald church and school. The roof was heavily damaged and the windows were blown out during the storm. There are cars parked in the lot and three men, wearing hard hats, can be seen near the school. Two trailer classrooms are seen on the left side of the photo. |
