Description |
This is a photograph featuring a view of the 5100 block of 95th Street during the winter. The photograph was taken from the south side of 95th Street near the railroad crossing near 51st Avenue and is looking toward the northwest. Business along the north side of 95th Street include Cleo Women's Boutique, located at 5102 West 95th Street, Millie's Ice Cream and Coffee Shoppe, located at 5108 West 95th Street, A & B Oak Lawn Currency Exchange, located at 5112 West 95th Street, and partially seen in the left, Fernwood Smith Cleaners located at 5114 W.95th Street. This entire building was demolished in 2001 to make way for the 51st Avenue Station development which includes stores and a condominium building. Traffic is seen moving in both directions while piles of snow line the sides of the street. |
