This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The black & white image shows a devastated neighborhood. Part of a brick home which sustained heavy damages can be seen on the right side of the photo. On the left, the yard is strewn with debris and part of the chain link fence is uprooted and wrapped around a tree. People can be seen near a pile of rubble looking at it. |
