This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The black & white image shows a garage in the 9600 block of Marion Avenue with Illinois National Guard soldiers working on clearing debris in the alley between Marion and Merton Avenues. A car and a National Guard bulldozer can be seen on the left side of the garage. Tree limbs and debris are scattered throughout the image. |
