Description |
This is a slide of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image shows a stucco sided bungalow that has sustained roof and window damage during the storm. People can be seen on the side of the house working to board up windows. The chain link fence around the yard is crumpled and debris is strewn across the grass. St. Gerald School can be seen in the far background. The neighborhood is probably in the vicinity of 54th Court and 94th Street. |
