This is a slide of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image, probably taken from the pedestrian bridge over Southwest Highway, shows the southeastern section of Oak Lawn Community High School demolished by the storm. The roof and parts of the walls are ripped away, exposing the interior of the building. Two men are seen walking near the sidewalk below. Debris is strewn across the ground. |
