Description |
This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image shows a view south down Southwest Highway towards the intersection with 95th Street. The pedestrian bridge can be seen in the center, with Oak Lawn Community High School visible on the right. The Red Barn Restaurant, 5840 W. 95th Street, can be seen on the left. Work trucks are parked on the road beyond the bridge and debris is scattered across the fields on both sides of the road. |
