This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image looks up at a telephone pole that has been damaged, somewhere near 87th Street and California Avenue in Evergreen Park. The pole is standing with the wires intact but the section near the top bracing is snapped nearly in half. |
