This is a photograph of the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades classes standing at the entrance of Cook Avenue School, 9526 S. Cook Avenue, circa 1911. The black & white image shows a group of children standing, posing for the camera, with the arched entryway behind them. At that time, Cook Avenue School was two rooms and the teacher was Peter B. Ritzma.
