Description |
This is a slide of damage caused by the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image shows the steel supports from a sign that could be seen when traveling north or south on Cicero Avenue. The wall runs east and west. Ray Murphy, the photographer, noted that the steel legs were about 3/4" thick and the legs are twisted. The sign is missing from the top. |
