This is a photograph of the 1967 snowstorm which blanketed the Chicago area, including Oak Lawn, with several feet of snow. The black & white image looks north from Sproat Avenue and 88th Street toward 87th Street where Jordan Baptist Church, 5040 W. 87th Street, can be seen in the background. A small path has been shoveled, showing the concrete sidewalk. |
