This is a photograph, circa 1944, of the American Legion Green Oak Post #757 Color Guard performing a graveside ceremony at an unidentified cemetery. The black & white photo shows a group of men, all wearing uniforms, standing at attention in a wide open space. A group of veterans are pointing their rifles skyward and a flag bearing group stands behind them. M. L. Larsonneur was the Post Commander. George Linhardt is second from the left. |
