This is a photograph of the Oak Lawn Chamber of Commerce 22nd annual golf outing at Palos Country Club. The color image shows Matt Lamb, of Blake-Lamb Funeral Home and Chairman of the golf outing committee, standing behind a golf cart stocked with complimentary beer and soda for the golfers. Two young women, wearing costumes and sashes with Gopher Girl written across it, are seated on the cart. The golf course can be seen behind them. The refreshment cart was compliments of SAMCC, Saturday Afternoon Marching and Chowder Club. |
