Description |
This is a photograph of controlled burn of a home located at approximately 7102 West 111th Street in Worth, Illinois. The home was next to the Worth Fire and Police Department. It was burned down in 1976 with multiple fire departments from surrounding towns participating in the training exercise. In this photograph, Worth fire fighter Pat Cahill stands by with a fire hose to control the fire which can be seen raging in the basement of the home. Smoke leaks out of a seam between the basement and the first floor structure. |
