This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image shows three firemen walking near the remains of Basil's Texaco Service Station on the southeast corner of 95th Street and Southwest Highway. Several automobiles, a gas tanker, and a fire truck can be seen in the background on the right side of the photo. The heavily damaged Fisher's Motel, 5920 W. 95th Street, can be seen in the background on the left. |
