Description |
This is a photograph of the construction of the Metra commuter parking lot at 95th Street and 51st Avenue. This view is looking to the northwest from the inside the construction site. Some of the cement curbs have already been constructed. A worker can be seen near the wood forms along 51st Avenue which is the street seen running from left (south) to right (north) in about the middle of the picture. Construction equipment is on the site and parked across the street in a vacant lot. Millie's Ice Cream and Coffee Shoppe, located at 5108 West 95th Street, can be seen in the background on the left. A home on the west side of 51st Avenue is in the right background of the picture. |
