Description |
This is an aerial photograph of 95th Street between 52nd Avenue and 53rd Court. 95th Street is seen diagonally from the left (west) to the right (east) in the lower part of the photo. 52nd Avenue is seen diagonally from the middle bottom (south) to the upper right (north) in the photo. The Zimmerman and Sandeman Memorial Chapel, located at 5200 W. 95th Street, is visible on the northwest corner of the intersection of 95th Street and 52nd Avenue. To the north, the Oak Lawn Masonic Lodge, located at 9420 S. 52nd Avenue, is on the northwest corner of 52nd Avenue and Dumke Drive. The Village Hall, located at 5252 Dumke Drive, is seen just to the west (left) of the Temple. The Oak Lawn Police Department and Oak Lawn Fire Department, located at 9437 S. Cook Avenue in the Center of Public Safety, are seen on the southeast corner of Dumke Drive and Cook Avenue. The Oak Lawn Public Library, located at 9427 S. Raymond, is just left (west) of the police and fire building. To the left (west) of the library, the Behrend home, located at 9446 S. Raymond Avenue is seen, as are many mobile homes in the Pine Tree mobile home park that occupied space between Raymond Avenue and 53rd Court. To the north of the mobile home park, the Oak Lawn Green Oak Post 757, located at 9354 S. 53rd Avenue, occupies the northwest corner of the intersection of 53rd Avenue and Oak Street. The O'Brien home, located at 9402 S. 53rd Court, is visible in the upper left hand corner of the photo, on the southwest corner of the intersection of Oak Street and 53rd Court. |
