This is a photograph of the Oak Lawn 4th of July 2012 Duck Race sponsored by the Oak Lawn Fire Department. Proceeds of the event went to the Megan Hurckes Scholarship Fund and the Oak Lawn Children's Museum. This photo was taken by Lake Shore Park (Oak Lawn Lake) and features two unidentified men standing in the creek awaiting the duck drop from a flatbed truck, partially visible in the upper right corner of the photograph. Spectators are gathered along the east side of the creek to watch the Duck Race. |
