This is a photograph featuring a view of the building which housed Millie's Ice Cream and Coffee Shoppe at 5108 W. 95th and Hair & Nails Unlimited at 5106 West 95th Street in the process of being demolished. This view is from the alley north of the building looking to the south. The building also housed A & B Oak Lawn Currency Exchange located at 5112 West 95th and Fernwood Smith Cleaners at 5114 W. 95th Street. A workman can be seen inside the fenced area watching the demolition. The building was demolished to make way for the 51st Avenue Station development which includes stores and a condominium building. |
