Description |
This is a photograph of the intersection of 95th Street & Cicero Avenue around 1965. The photograph is taken from the southeast corner of the intersection looking west. On the left (south) side of the intersection, Citizens Loan Corporation at 4807 West 95th Street and Burton's Store for Men located at 4815 West 95th Street are seen. On the right (north) side of the street are ABC Auto Seat Covers, located at 4800 West 95th Street, and the Goodyear Service Center at 4810 West 95th Street. Signs for Frank's Department Store at 4830 West 95th Street and the Jewel Food Store at 4856 West 95th Street are visible on the north side of the street beyond Goodyear. The Oak Lawn water tower, located just east of the Center of Public Safety on Cook Avenue, is visible in the background. Some traffic can be seen on 95th Street and cars are parked near businesses along the street. |
