This is a photograph of 4953-5001 W. 95th Street, a one story commercial building on the south side of 95th Street west of Brandt Avenue. The black & white image shows several storefronts: Oak Lawn Camera Shop; Oak Lawn Men's Wear; Mom's Pastry Shop; and Marcellin's Beauty Salon. Cars are parked diagonally in front of the businesses. A man can be seen walking eastbound along the sidewalk and a bicycle with a newspaper bag on the handle bars is parked in front of in front of one of the stores. On the north side of 95th Street, Oak Lawn Motors, 5000 W. 95th Street is partially visible. The Oak Lawn water tower, located on Cook Avenue just north of 95th Street, is seen in the distance. |
