Description |
This is a photograph of damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. The color image, taken from 95th Street and Southwest Highway, looks west toward the northwest corner of the intersection where the Dushop home, Shoot's Tavern, and the Fisher Motel once stood. Only a partial wall of the motel is left standing in the right of the photograph. . Stop signs are seen posted at the intersection where Southwest Highway crosses 95th Street. Work trucks and heavy equipment are on the site to do cleanup. |
