This is a photograph, circa 1971, of a youth ice skating race at the rink in Central Park in Oak Lawn. The black & white snapshot, slightly blurred, shows a group of children skate racing on a curve of the rink. Other people can be seen on the right side of the image, some whom may be supervising the race. The homes in the background are on Kenton Avenue. |
