This is a photograph, developed as a slide, of the damages after the 1967 Oak Lawn tornado. . The color image looks north from 94th Street toward the remains of St. Gerald School after the south section was demolished. The convent and the church are visible in the background on the right side of the photo. Rubble from the demolition and debris from the storm fill the site in the foreground. |
