Description |
This is an aerial photograph of 95th Street and Oak Park Avenue looking southeast to northwest. 95th Street is visible in the bottom of the picture running diagonally from left (west) to right (east). Oak Park Avenue is seen in the left of the photo running from bottom (south) to top (north). Businesses from l-r include, Bruce's Champion Service Station located at 6800 W. 95th Street (northwest corner of 95th Street & Oak Park Avenue), Jack Rutledge Buick, located at 6750 W. 95th Street, and Chicago Health and Racquet Club, located at 6700 W. 95th Street. In the upper portion of the picture, Oak Lawn baseball field are visible on both the west and east sides of Oak Park Avenue. The empty land in the center of the photograph will eventually be the site of the Oak Lawn Park District Pavilion. Two fire trucks can be seen in the Park District parking lot behind the car dealership with a large wet area between them. The Oak Park Amoco station, located at 6757 W. 95th Street can be seen in the very left bottom of the photo on the southeast corner of the intersection of 95th Street and Oak Park Avenue. |
