Description |
This is a photograph of controlled burn of a home located at approximately 7102 West 111th Street in Worth, Illinois. The home was next to the Worth Fire and Police Department. It was burned down in 1976 with multiple fire departments from surrounding towns participating in the training exercise. In this photograph, several Worth fire fighters are monitoring the fire on the east side of the structure. In the right of the photograph, Worth fire fighter Bill Andrist is at the top of a ladder deployed from a fire truck stationed on the north side of the structure. Other fire fighters in view, in no particular order, are Larry Yott, Gary Fox, Gerald S. Carley, Pat Cahill, and Don Albright. |
