The 1982 Oak Lawn Centennial celebrated the 100th anniversary of when Oak Lawn was first subdivided. This photograph features an Oak Lawn Park District fire truck pulling a float representing the Park District in the Centennial Parade on 95th Street. The truck and float are moving westbound on 95th Street passing Freshline Foods located at 5355 West 95th Street. People riding the float are waving to spectators along the south side of 95th Street. In the foreground, a parade goer is walking along the north side of the street. |
